Meet our executive team

Nate Smith
Nate Smith
Founder and CEO

Nate Smith leads Lever in our mission to offer talent leaders the reach of a marketing leader, the forecast of a sales leader, and the insight of a finance leader in a unified talent acquisition suite. He’s passionate about enterprise software’s potential for business transformation, user experience, and human connection. Prior to Lever, Nate was a product manager on the Google Analytics and the Google Search teams, where he led the first major redesign of Google’s image search UI, launching in July 2010. Nate received a degree in electrical and computer engineering from Olin College, at which he was a member of the school’s second ever graduating class.

Todd Martin
EVP of Customer Experience

Todd Martin leads the implementation, professional services, support, and success teams at Lever. Todd is also responsible for our partnerships and business development team. Todd brings a customer-first mindset and is on a quest to deliver the best customer experience in the industry for our customers. Todd thrives at the intersection of product, people, and business needs with proven results building award winning customer solutions, service, and support teams. Todd brings more than 25 years of experience from startups and large public companies alike, including Practice Fusion, the Associated Press, IBM, and Accenture. His experience ranges across customer success, sales, product management, software development, and consulting. Todd received a degree in engineering from the University of California, Davis.

Rob Tomchick
EVP of Sales

Rob Tomchick leads the global sales team at Lever, where he focuses his passion for recruiting and developing high-performance enterprise sales talent. Prior to joining Lever, Rob was Vice President, Software and Services Sales at NetSuite, where he successfully built a sales organization that aggressively scaled up-market, ultimately delivering more than $50M in annual new business bookings. Rob has been leading sales teams for over 12 years, and in addition to NetSuite has led teams at Percolate, SAP, and Business Objects. Rob earned his MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering from Queen’s University in Canada.

Jessica Green
SVP, Customer Success

Jessica Green leads the customer success team at Lever. At Lever, she is passionate about curating an environment that allows people to have exceptional experiences – within our team and for our customers. She continues to cultivate a culture that is both deeply empathetic and delivers results alongside our customers. She brings over 10 years of sales and customer experience, by way of Bullhorn, ToutApp, and Marketo. Jess attended the University of Connecticut and specialized in professional selling.

Keshila Shannon
SVP, Head of Marketing

Keshila Shannon leads the marketing team at Lever. She brings her tenured experience focused on technology solutions that provide a rich candidate experience that enables business outcomes for thousands of customers worldwide. With a tenured background in employee experience and over 20 years in marketing, Keshila has a long track record of building-integrated stories that capture the customers’ voice, campaigns that generate pipeline, and building and supporting team members of varied experience and contribution. With over 10 years of marketing leadership experience, Keshila has a keen sense of vision, strategy, and execution that she crafted over years of working at top brands such as Taleo/Oracle, Fitbit, and Achievers. Kesh holds a Masters of Integrated Marketing Solutions from Golden Gate University.

Leo Choi
VP Finance & Strategy

Leo Choi leads the finance, accounting, and corporate development teams at Lever. Leo brings an empathetic and execution-focused leadership approach with a strong record of management and delivering results. Leo brings 15 years of experience across finance, corporate strategy, business operations, and technology investment banking, including 10 years of SaaS experience which involves multiple fundraisers, mergers and acquisitions, and integrations. Leo received an electrical engineering and computer science degree from University of California, Berkeley.

Tom Beecher
VP, Engineering

Tom Beecher leads Lever’s engineering organization, responsible for all product development and cloud operations activities. Tom is passionate about building and enabling high-performing engineering teams and with those teams, delivering software and services that improve people’s lives and work. He has been managing engineering projects and teams for over 30 years, most recently as Vice President, Software Engineering at Blackboard where he was responsible for the company’s K-12 and Mobile products. Tom received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts.
