With Lever + Slack, Arrive on Time and Prepared for Interviews

Have you ever had one of those days where you barely get a second to eat lunch, let alone check your calendar or email? We get it—over-scheduled, always-on-the-go employees don’t always remember to check their calendars for interview invites, let alone prepare for an interview. When you’re having one of those days, an email reminder about an upcoming interview just gets buried among the calendar invites and reply-all chains in your inbox.

On the heels of yesterday’s Slack Enterprise Grid launch, we’re excited to announce our new interview alerts in Slack.  Arriving at an interview prepared and on time is key to conducting thorough interviews and creating a great candidate experience. Slack users spend an average of 10 hours per day connected to the application, making it a much more reliable way to communicate interview alerts to even the busiest of employees.

A whopping 62% of Slack users reported that using Slack has made finding information easier. Our first Slack integration enabled users to post announcements and notes to Slack channels by adding a #mention to notes in a Lever candidate profile. With our new Slack integration, interviewers will receive reminder alerts in Slack 10 minutes before scheduled interviews. Reminders include all key candidate information you need to get to your interview on time and fully prepared, such as a link to the resume, the interview location, and the job posting title.

As companies grow, it becomes even more critical—and more difficult—to reach employees in the right place at the right time. (If you think chasing down interviewers is bad at a 100 person company, just imagine what it’s like at a 10,000 person company!). We’re thrilled to partner with Slack on their Slack Enterprise Grid, as Slack helps power communication and collaboration in large organizations.
